Eventually, she works as an advisor to government agencies, NGOs and social organizations and collectives in the formulation of bills and regulations on communication and culture. She was responsible for programs in several NGOs, where she designed, managed and evaluated communication, education, social organization and development projects in rural and urban areas, in collaboration with national and international funding agencies and with organizations of rural people, women, working children and adolescents, and urban territorial organizations. She has also worked as a journalist in public, community and private media.

Cyt expertise: 
Specialist in communication, cultural and digital rights, policies and inequalities; in self-management and socio-community practices to guarantee those rights (community media, digital media, community cultural organizations and community internet networks); and in social participation and incidence of civil society organizations in public policies in those areas and participatory public institutions. She also works on the current issues of public communication (disinformation, hate speech, negationism); and the alternatives to overcome these issues proposed by states (public policies and regulations, participatory public institutions), companies (private regulations and private moderation of content), international agencies and civil society organizations (media and information literacy, fact-checking) and by social movements and public institutions.
