Specialist in historical demography and within that field, in social history of health and disease in Argentina. I work on the history of endemic and epidemic diseases such as tuberculosis, Spanish influenza and cholera. From that perspective, I focus on epidemiology, the social and state strategies implemented to fight disease and the technological innovations, as well as those professions concentrated on developing the necessary knowledge to combat illness.
