Specialist in feminist activism and gender studies. She researches on the intersection between feminist activism and academic knowledge acquisition based on the contributions of Latin American and Caribbean feminisms, decolonial feminism and black feminism. From a genealogical perspective, she also studies the transformation of the intersectional approach in the Latin American and Caribbean region. Currently, she is focusing on gender-based policies in the educational field and the challenges faced to strengthen gender mainstreaming at our universities.
